Daycare Terms and Agreement
1) Owner agrees to pay for Daycare Services/Pet Care Services in effect on the date pet is admitted to Hounds Abound Playground.
2) Owner Further Agrees to pay all costs and charges for special services requested and all veterinary costs for the pet during the pet's stay at Hounds Abound Playground.
3) Owner Agrees that the pet shall not leave Hounds Abound Playground until all charges have been paid to Hounds Abound by owner.
4) Hounds Abound shall exercise reasonable care for the pet during daycare. It is agreed by owner and Hounds Abound that Hounds Abound's Liability shall not exceed chattel value of the pet under any circumstance. The owner further agrees to be solely responsible for any and all acts or behavior of said pet while it is in the care of Hounds Abound.
5) Owner specifically represents to Hounds Abound that pet is current and fully vaccinated against rabies, distemper, parvo-virus, and bordatella.
6) All charges incurred by owner shall be payable upon pick-up of pet. Hounds Abound is hereby granted a lien on a pet for any and all unpaid charges resulting from daycare/pet services at Hounds Abound Playground. Hounds Abound may exercise it's lien rights upon 10 days written notice given by Hounds Abound via certified mail to address shown on contract. Hounds Abound may dispose of any pet for any and all unpaid charges, at a private or public sale, in the sole discretion of Hounds Abound, and owner specifically waives all statutory or legal rights to the contrary. If such sale shall not secure a price adequate to pay cost of daycare/pet services or other charges delinquent, plus costs of sale, then owner shall be liable to Hounds Abound for the difference.
7) Hounds Abound is not responsible for pet toys, bedding, etc. left with pet during pet's stay at Hounds Abound Playground. All items, including food containers must be labeled by owner prior to leaving pet at Hounds Abound Playground.
8) Contract shall be binding on the heirs, administrators, personal representatives, and assigns of the owner and Hounds Abound.
9) Any controversy or claim arising out of or relating to this contract, or the breech thereof, or as the result of any claim or controversy involving the alleged negligence by any party to this contract, shall be settled in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association, and judgment upon the award rendered by an arbitrator may be entered in any court having jurisdiction thereof. The arbitrator shall, as a part of his award, determine an award to prevailing party of the costs of such arbitration and reasonable attorney's fees of the prevailing party.
10) A 24 hour cancellation notice is required in order to avoid being charged for that day.
11) Don't be late! We close at 7pm. A late pick up fee of $25.00 will be charged for the first 15 minutes and an additional $10.00 every 15 minutes after.
